Mission

The Foundation continually strives to accomplish numerous achievements:

• the ceremonious annual commemoration of Eindhoven's liberation
• the continued tradition of honoring veterans and active peace-keeping troops alike for their ongoing contribution to our freedom and global democracy
• the organization of an annual parade, with the participation of many culture and sports oriented organizations
• the contribution to a discussion about peace and tolerance for and among people, including reflection on personal responsibility and empowerment to maintain and achieve these goals; the presentation of the Freedom Lecture, as well as the offering of related activities to high school students, greatly contributes to evoke thought provoking issues
• the contribution to a public debate, by means of asking questions and sharing reflections regarding the significance of living in freedom
